とりあえず、Debian 社会契約(http://www.debian.org/social_contract.ja.html)と、パッケージング --- Debian メンテナ入門(http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/maint-guide/index.ja.html)について、やろうかと思う。
その次は、Debian 開発者のコーナー(http://www.debian.org/devel/)をさらえる。
あとは本家のMLに参加するのがよさげか。

_ 空間情報システム
大阪市立大学でオープンソースな空間情報システムとしてGRASS GIS(http://grass.baylor.edu/)の日本語化したものを縁があってgood-dayの回線でホスティングしているFOSS4G & GRASS-JAPAN potal site(http://www.grass-japan.org/)を置いている。
空間情報システムとは、地図データなどの、ベクターおよびラスターデータを自由に、重ねたりなどの操作を行うソフトウェアである。たとえば、普通の地図に人口数のデータを重ねたり、道路状況の図と重ねてみたりと、いろいろ加工するものです。
日本の場合は、国土地理院からのデータなどを利用すると色々と夢が広がるかと思います。

m17n-db - a multilingual text processing library - database
The m17n library is a multilingual text processing library for the C language. This library has following features:
- The m17n library is an open source software.
- The m17n library for any Linux/Unix applications.
- The m17n library realizes multilingualization of many aspects of applications.
- The m17n library represents multilingual text as an object named M-text. M-text is a string with attributes called text properties, and designed to substitute for string in C. Text properties carry any information required to input, display and edit the text.
- The m17n library supports functions to handle M-texts.
m17n is an abbreviation of Multilingualization.
This package contains the database files used from m17n-lib.

他人のメールを読む方法(http://oku.edu.mie-u.ac.jp/~okumura/iroiro/0405.html#14)基本的なことだが、こんな事態にならないようにメールサーバに余分な人をログインさせない。というのがよいということですね。

上記の奥村さんの日記にでていた。smartのdaemonは入れていたのだが、hddtempも入れてみようかと思い、自分のノートにインストールしてみたが下記のようにセンサーが入ってなくてあきらめました。

途中、setuidするか? daemonとして動かすかと聞かれてNoを選択。センサーがついているhddをおもちなら試してみると良いだろう。
