_ [Debian] Orphan されたパッケージを引き受ける

Debconfで、話をしていて Debian Developer になるために、Package の活動をもっと増やす必要があることを思い至ったので、O (Orphan)されていた canna-shion を引き受けることにした。

upstramのwebpageが、なくなっているのでまずは作者の人捜しからはじまる。Vine Linux の ML で lain さんを捜すべきか。最悪、web page自体は、internet archives で見ることができる。しかしながら、どこかで shion 辞書の再公開を手助けするのがよいのか。

deの grisu さんと、ddtp の翻訳について、お話をする。翻訳およびレビューの Web interface ができていること。翻訳データベースは、EUC-JPからUTF-8に変換していること。メールで Description 翻訳する方法だとインターネットにつながってなくても翻訳ができるので便利だということなどを語ってもらいました。

ftp://ftp.jp.debian.org/debian/dists/sid/main/i18nのファイルについては、これからftp masterと相談して sync する話をするよとのこと。そのため、(http://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2007/06/msg00121.html)のメールで説明しているよとのこと。

grisuさんは、日本に興味をもってくれているようだ。日本のカンファレンスで、英語で講演して議論できるところがあると嬉しそうなのだが。

_ [Debconf7] 訳語表

(http://kleptog.org/cgi-bin/ddtss2-cgi/ja)の訳語表を追加するには、de の場合は wiki を使っていると grisu さんから教えてもらった。日本の場合はどうなっているのかな? webインタフェースだと、ポイントするだけで定訳が出るのは便利そうだった。日本語の場合は、単語に関する定訳の表示はないように見えた。
