参考にしたサイト (http://ppc.linux.or.jp/~kazu/synergy.html) で、私の設定ファイルは、/etc/synergy.conf に

と書いて,サーバ側が

クライアント側が

で実行可能。これで、チョットしたマルチモニター気分

Updated 2006/05/07:このパッケージは、古い Eclipse 用だったので、もはや Out of Date です. 現時点では Debian unstable に Eclipse 3.0 系+日本語NLSがあるので、新しいruby eclipseをおっかける必要があるでしょう。

下記のようなソースコードを書いて、libgettext-ruby1.8とlibtk-rubyの入ったDebianマシンでプログラムを書いてたら

rgettext menu.rb -o menu.pot

で、反応がなくなります。

xgettext -k_ menu.rb -o menu.pot

とすると、

    xgettext: 警告: ファイル `menu.rb' (拡張子 `rb') は未知の形式なので C 言語を試します

と怒られますが、うまくmenu.potファイルは生成できます。N_ とかの場合は、

    xgettext -k_ -kN_ menu.rb -o menu.pot

になるみたい。まだ試してないけど。

#292 で言及していたことは直ったのだが、私の再現条件が 悪かった。

SystemFontをTureにしていると、やっぱり日本語がでない。Falseにする必要がある。

基本的には ~/.openoffice の下記の値が問題なのだが。

This package provides an input driver for the XFree86 X server to enable advanced features of the Synaptics Touchpad including:

• Movement with adjustable, non-linear acceleration and speed
• Button events through short touching of the touchpad
• Double-Button events through double short touching of the touchpad
• Dragging through short touching and holding down the finger on the touchpad
• Middle and right button events on the upper and lower corner of the touchpad
• Vertical scrolling (button four and five events) through moving the finger on the right side of the touchpad
• The up/down button sends button four/five events
• Horizontal scrolling (button six and seven events) through moving the finger on the lower side of the touchpad
• The multi-buttons send button four/five events, and six/seven events for horizontal scrolling
• Adjustable finger detection
• Multifinger taps: two finger for middle button and three finger for right button events. (Needs hardware support. Not all models implement this feature.)
• Run-time configuration using shared memory. This means you can change parameter settings without restarting the X server (see synclient(1)).
• It also provides a daemon to disable touchpad while typing at the keyboard and thus avoid unwanted mouse movements (see syndaemon(1)).

会社でいろいろあって、私のマシンをサーバにしてXDMCPの設定をしてみた。 Pentium 1.6G memory 1.0Gのマシンで、7人ログインして、OpenOffice.org、Mozilla-1.6、Eclipseをグリグリ使ってみた。負荷は、6ぐらいが最高で、I/Oがボトルネックでした。使ってみた感じ、十分使いものになります。ちゃんとした管理者が一人いると、ちょっと良いサーバを入れて、そのへんのマシンにknoppix入れて管理は管理者に、ユーザはアプリケーションだけに集中できます。

Project BLUEのMLで、話している内容で、CUIだと再現性(記録を取りやすい)というものがある。

historyで助かったこともある。scriptコマンドや、ttyrecで助かったこともある私としては、納得がいく所である。GUIで記録を取る話になると、画面を連続してキャプチャリングしたり、flashに落したりすることになる。

書類に残したり、再現するコストを考えるとCUIのコマンドラインが再現できるGUIがAIXにあったと、見て「なるほどなあ」と関心しました。

GUIの操作をすると、別枠にCUIのコマンドが出てくると。

逆で、CUIのコマンドを、そのままコピペしてGUIの設定ができるとこれまた幸せかも。
