The command imapsync is a tool allowing incremental and recursive imap transfer from one mailbox to another.
We sometimes need to transfer mailboxes from one imap server to another. This is called migration.
imapsync is the adequate tool because it reduces the amount of data transfered by not transfering a given message if it is already on both sides. Same headers, same message size and the transfert is done only once. All flags are preserved, unread will stay unread, read will stay read, deleted will stay deleted. You can stop the transfert at any time and restart it later, imapsync is adapted to a bad connection.
You can decide to delete the messages from the source mailbox after a successful transfert (it is a good feature when migrating). In that case, use the --delete option, and run imapsync again with the --expunge option.
You can also just synchronize a mailbox A from another mailbox B in case you just want to keep a "live" copy of B in A (backup).
subversionで俗にいう commit メールを流すツール
The svnmailer is an extensible subversion commit notification tool. However, its purpose in the first place is to create human readable commit messages. In order to accomplish this, the content may be recoded to fit the requirements of the MIME standard. The svnmailer is able to generate the proper viewcvs urls and place them quite handy near the diffs in the notification mails.

Wyrd acts as an ncurses-based frontend for remind, a scheduler application featuring sophisticated date calculation, moon phases, sunrise/sunset, Hebrew calendar, alarms, multilingual messages, and proper handling of holidays.
Wyrd displays reminders on a browsable time table along with a calendar and lets the user create new timed or untimed reminders. Using the remind backend, it is possible to convert the calendar to PostScript for printing and to synchronize it with Palm handhelds.
multilingual messages というのが期待が持てるな．GUIがあってscript言語を覚えなくてもいいというのがよさげか．入れてみよっと
Remind allows you to remind yourself of upcoming events and appointments via a reasonably easy to understand config file. Each reminder or alarm can consist of a message sent to standard output, or a program to be executed.
It also features: sophisticated date calculation, moon phases, sunrise/sunset, Hebrew calendar, alarms, PostScript output, tcl/tk front-end, multilingual messages, and proper handling of holidays.
Includes scripts for making a nice WWW calendar server (in the /usr/share/doc/remind/examples directory). And provides a graphical front-end for people who don't want to learn the scripting language.
Email-reminder allows users to define events that they want to be reminded of by email. Possible events include birthdays, anniversaries and yearly events. Reminders can be sent on the day of the event and a few days beforehand.
This package includes the cron job that checks for events and send reminders once a day, and a simple GUI allowing users to edit the reminders they want to receive.
Make sure you install the anacron package if your computer is turned off at night or the reminders will never get sent.
apt-rpm is a port of Debian's APT to the RPM package format. This Debian package contains the tools to create an APT RPM repository, so RPM-based systems can be maintained using APT while the APT repository resides on a Debian system.

RageIRCd v2 is a versatile and flexible IRC Server daemon with a lot of features, including a easy-to-understand, bind-like configuration file and very flexible ban/autojoin options. These features don't only make the server suitable for building IRC Networks, but also for local installations that wish to restrict channel creation.
RageIRCd v2 is derived from high performance IRC servers such as bahamut, ircd-hybrid, ircd-ratbox and ircu, but with scaled down performance and usability to suit smaller sized networks. However, every effort has been made to ensure that the advanced technologies included will scale back up in the event of high client loads and network attacks, as and when required.
