Advanced PHP Debugger is a full-featured PHP profiler/debugger that is loaded as a zend_extension. It aims to be an analog of C's gprof or Perl's Devel::DProf, and provides PHP developers with a number of additional functions which can be used to obtain internal code execution details such as timing information, function call tree and stack backtrace. JasPer is a collection of software (i.e., a library and application programs) for the coding and manipulation of images. This software can handle image data in a variety of formats. One such format supported by JasPer is the JPEG-2000 format defined in ISO/IEC 15444-1:2000.

This package contains programs for manipulating JPEG-2000 files.

The GIFT (the GNU Image-Finding Tool) is a Content Based Image Retrieval System (CBIRS). It enables you to do Query By Example on images, giving you the opportunity to improve query results by relevance feedback. For processing your queries the program relies entirely on the content of the images, freeing you from the need to annotate all images before querying the collection.

The GIFT comes with a tool which lets you index whole directory trees containing images in one go. You then can use the GIFT server and its client, to browse your own image collections.

The GIFT is an open framework for content-based image retrieval. We explicitly have taken into account the possibility of adding new ways of querying to the framework. Our communication protocol for client-server communication, MRML, is XML based and fully documented (http://www.mrml.net). This aims at promoting code reuse among researchers and application developers.

The current version of the GIFT can be seen in action at http://viper.unige.ch/demo/

The GIFT (ex Viper) is the result of a research effort at the Vision Group at the CUI (computer science center) of the University of Geneva (see http://vision.unige.ch/). This package provides the source code for the Linux kernel version 2.6.0-test4 with modifications by Debian. It is used to build the various prepackaged kernel-image packages.

You may configure the kernel to your setup by typing "make config" and following instructions, but you could get ncursesX.X-dev and tkX.X-dev and try "make menuconfig" for a jazzier, and easier to use interface. Also, please read the detailed documentation in the file /usr/share/doc/kernel-source-2.6.0-test4/README.headers.gz.

If you wish to use this package to create a custom Linux kernel, then it is suggested that you investigate the package kernel-package, which has been designed to ease the task of creating kernel image packages.

PUPA is the Preliminary Universal Programming Architecture for GRUB. It is a research project for the next generation of GNU GRUB. The most important goal is to make GNU GRUB cleaner, safer, more robust, more powerful, and more portable.

This package contains experimental software which doesn't have all the expected features (In particular, it doesn't support Ext2fs).For a stable and usable bootloader look at GRUB instead.
