06:06:13 # Life xorg upgrade and radeon. My screen goes to sleep mode. I thought I've been bitten by 443019, which says radeon driver in sid doesn't seem to like DVI output. I had hoped that apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-ati/experimental will fix my problem. But that wasn't it. I filed a new bug 444223. Current workaround is to use 6.6.3 driver.
09:30:09 # Life kernel hangs. My amd64 desktop machine seems to hang with latest kernel. 2.6.23-rc3 seems to be okay, 2.6.23-rc4, rc5 seems to hang my system hard after a few hours. It doesn't respond to pings. Hard to reliably reproduce and hard to analyse. Fortunately this patch was the right fix.
13:48:28 # Life Has info-lookup-symbol keybinding changed? Apparently, it has. Personally, 'C-h S' is much harder to type for me than 'C-h C-i'. I've added this configuration to .emacs to work around the problem. (define-key help-map "\C-i" 'info-lookup-symbol)
