09:35:37 # Life pbuilder on SSD. I managed to set my new machine (vaio P) up enough that it runs pbuilder. I checked the speed. sudo cp -a base.cow sid-chroottook 50 seconds. cowbuilder does cp -al and cowbuilder took 5 seconds. Although SSD seems to improve the speed somewhat, not doing any data copying is much faster.
