Snortのルールを管理する

A simple script to manage and update Snort rules with the capability of disabling, modifying and enabling specific rules after an update. Oinkmaster will tell you exactly what has changed since your last update, giving you good control of your rules. It also can be used to manage updates from both the official provider (www.snort.org) and from home-grown rulesets.

The POSIX Test Suite is a free (as in speech) test suite with the goal of performing conformance, functional, and stress testing of the IEEE 1003.1-2001 System Interfaces specification in a manner that is agnostic to any given implementation.

This is a dummy package. If you want to run the testsuite, use the source package of the same name (e.g. apt-get source posixtestsuite).

_ [DPiS] dnsdoctor - DNS (Domain Name System) checking tool

DNSdoctor is intended to help solving misconfigurations or inconsistencies. It will help you by looking for potential errors and give you a description of the problem and refere you to RFC or other documents; but of course it is still recommanded that you have some basic knowledge of how the DNS works. The DNSdoctor configuration file reflect the policy to use. You can let it select the best test set to apply when checking a zone (use of a reverse delegation profile for .ip6.arpa or .in-addr.arpa, and a generic profile for other TLDs); but on the other hand, you can also force the use of a particular profile or create a new one (for example to test RFC compliance).
