Summarising this month's Tokyo Debian meeting.
Yesterday we had another Tokyo Debian meeting. It is a monthly meeting held in Tokyo, Japan.
approx. 23 people attended.
Kobayashi, kashiwagi, kurasawa, Maeda, Sutou, Muto, Yamane, Nokubi, Komuro, Takasugi, Eto, Yoshida@Itabashi,
mhatta, Kitahara, gotom, nakano, ysjj. Matsuyama, Kawachi, David Smith, Charles Plessy, et moi.
Report follows:
- We introduced what people sent as their homework; about
Debian networking configuration. Hot discussion about
configuration arose. An idea materialised: at DebConf, if
we had different network configuration in each room, and
required NTLM authentication for Proxy use, and meeting
schedule was fed through HTTPS RSS feed, will it improve
Debian?
-
Debian weekly news trivia quiz; we only had 5 questions to ask, since DWN has stopped.
What shall we do next month?
-
kmuto reported on Extramadura i18n meeting.
pootle isn't too useful right now, but it's nice to know there is a task-force
for i18n with momentum.
-
Matsuyama presented about flash with flash created by ming.
There was a heated discussion between Matsuyama and Nokubi.
-
Uekawa talked about apt profiling.
Conclusion being, SHA1 tuning is hard.
-
After all this, enkai was held in "enya".
