F-Spot is meant to be an easy-to-use photo management application. It allows for importing of your existing photo collections, tagging photos with identifiers, as well as doing simple edits of photos (e.g. rotating).

This application is still in its early stage of development.

GPLなフラッシュのプレイヤーか出来た．まだ Mozilla-compatiable pluginをサポートしてないが，別のしくみでbrowserにみせているようだ． libflash-mozpluginも要チェック

とりあえず，www.macromeda.comとwww.macromedia.com/jp/では試した．よく見たらダメだった．http://www.iodata.jp/さんでもflashがinstallされてないと判定されている．

ということなので，これからに期待か．ってREADMEとか，changelogを読むと，新しいメンテナーが現われてlibflashからバッケージを分割した模様．

Music player for mp3, ogg, wav, audiocd, mp3 streaming, ogg streaming and able to use the appropriate sound drivers, demons, to stream directly to an icecast server (icecast2 or shoutcast) or to encode in ogg/vorbis. soma player is even a sound daemon (sds-soma daemon sound), able to accept connections from more somaplayers at the same time, or at any other sound player (xmms, mpg123 and others), thanks to a special wrapper. All those sources are added and managed via driver or daemon, streammed or encoded as above. These are the features of somaplayer:

私の指導教官がいま，BangkokからChaingmaiあたりに行かれています．かの国では，カードを購入してインターネットへの接続が可能だそうです．IRCで一緒に話しながら，MLへメールを投げています．こういう実体を見ると世界は小さくなったと実感できます．

もう，普通になってきている気がする．

一度、朝方4:30頃に目が醒めてしまい、2度寝することにする。朝シャワーを浴びて、靴下などを自分で洗濯する。持ってきた物干しロープが役立つ。ジャケットはさすがに洗えないのでクリーニングへ出す。

朝食は付いているので、サーブしてもらう。だまっていると甘いパン(中にりんごジャムみたいなのが入って、パンの上部にはシュガーパウダーが振りかけてある)をサーブされてしまうので、プレインなものに交換してもらう。あとはヨーグルトとエスプレッソ

kmutoさんが会議に参加してくれたおかげかと思うが、debian-bootに投げていたissueに返事があって、最新版を試してくれと返事があった。メール中では(http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/spellcheck/level2/latest/nozip/ja_codes.txt)にD-iの日本語が使っている文字コード一覧が出ているとの事

Debian Community Conference IT 2006イベント中に試せるかな...

_ [Debian]イベント設営を手伝う

Debian Community Conference IT 2006イベント会場や、San Dona di Piave 周辺の様子(とりわけ駅)を確認したりするために、徒歩でうろうろする。ホテル出発は9:40ごろであったが、あっという間に時間は過ぎて、11:30ぐらいにイベント会場近くに到着した。が、残念なことに雨に降られてしまった。雨宿りしたスーパーマーケットで地図をよくよく確認してみると、スーパーマーケットが入っているモールの裏側が会場であった。

30分ぐらい雨宿りして、小雨になった段階で会場方面へ歩いてへいくとローカルコーディネターの人に出会えた。会場を設営している段階で、昼から全体のコーディネータである Marco さんがやってくるとのこと。お手伝いをしにてきてた人達は10名程度、そのうち英語で意志疎通ができるのが3名と言う感じ。ピザを一緒に頼んでもらい、会場の設営を手伝う。主に力仕事系列 ;-) インターネットは、有線と、アンテナを立てて無線通信を使った2系統を用意していた。ルーターは4つether口を付けたPCであった。

少し日本語のできる ryuujin こと、Mircha さんとは、かなり仲良くなれた。彼のおかげでイタリア語を話せない私が現地の人達と融け込めた。イタリアの人達は、日本のスポーツバーで置いてあるようなバーのついたサッカーゲームをやるのが非常にポピュラーなようである。ryujin さんに手ほどきを受けてゲームに参加して、非常に盛り上がった。盛り上がってくると日本語でいうところの「くたばっちまえ」的な表現がばりばりと出てきて、実践的なイタリア語 :-) を教え込まれる。

そうこうして、会場設営がおわり、買いだしを手伝ってみた。ビール3ケース、水6ケース、その他 清涼飲料水3ケースぐらい、ゴミ袋などなど、明日からの summer of codeとDebian community conference 用の物資を調達する。会場にどっかから持ってきて設営してあった冷蔵庫へ入る分だけいれる。これで、わたしの手伝えそうな所は終り、ホテルへ戻る事にした。車で送ってもらい帰りは楽々。

_ 虫避けスプレー

Berlin や Prague では出番がなかった虫避けスプレーだが、イタリアでは大活躍である。

_ 魅力あるイタリア

まだ、イタリアに着いて時間が浅いが、多くの日本人を魅了しているイタリアの良さを垣間見たような気がする。話を聞いていると San Dona di Piave は、ヴェニスのように観光都市ではなく、居住地域の都市だという。

そこで見ている限りにおいて、感じることがある。それは、「他の国よりも高い比率でファッションに気を使っていそうな人の割合が高い。」ということである。都市の大きさに比べて、靴、服、時計、文房具などの充実具合が日本の大都市並であることを感じる。また建築も面白いデザインのモノがある。住んでみるとまた違った目線になるとは思うが、なんでもかんでも贅沢をするのではなく、San Dona di Piaveの人達は自分の好きなものを厳選して身近に置いている感じがする。
