山本くんがUnix User 6月号に記事を書いているので買ってみた。 sylpheedが1.0へ向けてのお話。

ほかには、Java Press Vol 36(http://www.gihyo.co.jp/magazines/javapress/archive/Vol36)にOpenOffice.org+Javaによるシステム開発入門 -- データの埋め込み、PDF化など、オフィス文書をさまざまに操作できる! とあるので、これも購入。

ashieさんと、名刺を交換する。もちろん、ちゃんと交換しました。

自由？についてのおはなし。管理する方と管理される方のせめぎあい:-)だったりするので、けっこう、グッデイ的にもりあがりました。

完全に何でも入れて良くて、入っているアプリケーションすらわからないというのは、chaosで、それは困る。でも、選択余地が全くないのもユーザとしてはおもしろくない。
では、管理ポリシーによるので、どんな作りがいいのかな。という話だと理解してました。

私の理解では、基本的に「管理者」が用意(選別というべきか)を利用者が使う形が良いだろう。

で、各クライアントに入っているパッケージ一覧は、管理者からは見える。 というのが結論だと思ってます。

Configure the Matrox G550 at ADDRESS for NTSC TV output. It configures the card for 720x480i@59.94. The graphics driver (matroxfb,XFree86, Xorg, or other) must be configured for the same mode.

うーむ．いまさらZ80のアセンプラなのだが，MZ-80Kを高校時代に使い込んだ世代としては気になったので入れてしまった．

The Z80 microprocessor is used in old home computers, such as the ZX-spectrum and MSX, and in several newer devices, such as the TI-83 graphical calculator and the GameBoy.

Features include:

• including other sources
• complex expressions (similar to bash)
• labels of unlimited length
• conditional compilation depending on expressions

dbacl can distill text documents into categories, and then compare other text documents to the learned categories.

It can be used to recognize spam, and more generally sort incoming email into any number of categories such as work, play, and so on.

As a noise filter, it can be useful during the indexing of personal document collections.

危険だけど便利そう

mountpy scans all devices connected to the system, and tries to mount them, creating mount directories as needed. Warning: this runs setuid root and allows ordinary users to mount external filesystems. Do not install it on multiuser machines with untrusted users!

7-Zip is the file archiver that archives with the highest compression ratios. The program supports 7z (that implements LZMA compression algorithm), ZIP, Zip64, CAB, RAR, ARJ, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, CPIO, RPM and DEB formats. Compression ratios with the new 7z format are 30 to 50% better than ratios with the ZIP format.

Currently, p7zip (like 7-zip) supports both little and big endian machines.

This meta package ease the full installation of TYPO3, if you want to run all server components from one machine. In addition it depends on the latest packages to smooth the update process.

TYPO3 is a Web content management system which features automatic creation of navigational menus, headlines, and other dynamic graphical elements, automatic conversion and scaling of images, the ability to present different templates based on variables such as client browser or country code, support for multiple templates on a site, and a built-in password-protection option.

Pages can be timed to be shown on a certain date, be hidden on a certain date or just temporarily hidden. TYPO3 supports search in SQL-databases and redesigning of a website at once is just a matter of creating a single new template.

_ [Debian] wnpp 疑似パッケージ

はじめに。以下にでる用語は、(http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/)を参照のこと。

td2planet を Debian に入れるのに、ITP を行った。この宣言は、Debian に対して新しいパッケージを作りたい(作ってます)を宣言するものである。この手続きにより、別々の人が同じパッケージを作るという無駄な作業をなくすことができる。

上記の文章に詳しいが、 wnpp 疑似パッケージに対する操作として

• 新しいメンテナを必要としているパッケージ:

  • メンテナが養子に出したいパッケージ (RFA : Request For Adoption)
  • みなしごパッケージ (O : Orphan )

• 支援が必要なパッケージ (RFH : Request For Help)
• 期待されているパッケージ:

  • 現在作業中のパッケージ (ITP : Intent To Package)
  • 要求があるパッケージ (RFP : Request for Package)

のようなことができる。

今の仕組みからだと、「送信待機」->送信キューにあるメールのヘッダーに、エデイターで X-Debbugs-CC を付ける。-> 「メール送信」という流れか

_ 見積もりに角印じゃなくて社印が必要な場合

たいていの場合、見積書は角印で良いのですが、たまに代表者の氏名と印鑑(社印)が必要な場合もあり、相手さまが要求するフォーマットに合わせないといけません。

この2つの使い分け方がよくわからないので、他の社長さんに会ったら聞いてみようと思います。

_ 先月で請求が終わっているはずの支払い

前に済んでいたマンションの不動産管理会社さんの手違いで、今月も請求書がまわってきた。敷金0で礼金だけなので、お金を返す必要がないので忘れられていたのかと思う。あまり管理がしっかりしてなかったので、物件から出ることにしたのだが、最後まで残念な結果となった。宅建の管理者もいる会社なんだけど、それだけじゃ何もわからないんだなあ。

まめに管理してくれる管理会社が管理している物件って、素人じゃ見分けられないのかな。業界にコネを持つか、口コミなのかなあ。あとは大家が自主管理している物件かも。大家さんとの相性もあるかもしれないけどね。
